There are railway stations at both Crianlarich and Tyndrum which offer some of the most beautiful train journeys in Scotland. The journey to Mallaig is particularly stunning and of course you get to travel over the famous Harry Potter bridge. If you fancy a day out in Glasgow then going by train is ideal. You are deposited slap bang in the middle of shopping (or sightseeing if you want a little culture) heaven where you can shop till you drop and then be returned back to Crianlarich in the early evening. Perfect!
The surrounding area has a wealth of attractions and activities on offer some of which are listed below. We are more than happy to suggest days out for you, Ian has a wealth of fantastic tours by car he can send you on and there is also an excellent Tourist Information Centre just up the road at Tyndrum with very friendly and informative staff.
